Dr David Munro
Dr David Munro is a highly qualified physiotherapist with over 25 years’ experience. He holds a PhD from Monash University and is an accredited ImPACT trained Concussion Physiotherapist.
In addition to his clinical role, David has been the Head Physiotherapist at the National Institute of Circus Arts (NICA) since 2001, and in conjunction with Cirque du Soleil, helped develop the first official protocol for concussion management in circus artists.
From 2021 David has been the Concussion Officer for the East Malvern Knights Junior Football Club. He has also consulted to the broader Southern Metro Junior Football League (SMJFL) on concussion management in adolescent footballers.

Dr Munro attended the 6th International Consensus Conference on Concussion in Sport, held in Amsterdam (The Netherlands) recently. This conference brings together the world’s leading scientists, clinicians and sports administrators investing the latest developments in sports-related concussion.
Kate Rowell
Kate graduated from the University of Melbourne in 1994 and has wide-ranging physiotherapy experience in both the public and private sectors.
Evidence-based practice is a driving force in her physiotherapy practice and is solidified by her work as a clinical supervisor of physiotherapy students from both the University of Melbourne and Charles Sturt University.
In private practice, Kate uses her extensive clinical skills to assist those patients suffering from a range of concussion related symptoms back to school, work, play and life!
